Displaying family portraits should not be stressful. The process of printing and showcasing the photographs from a photography session should be at least somewhat enjoyable.
But let’s be honest.
The average person who doesn’t consider themselves to have a creative or design eye struggles greatly regarding knowing the best way to hang printed photos in the home. I’m hoping to help change that here on my blog site again. Sure, there are an abyss of options if you type wall displays in Pinterest or wall photography ideas on Houzz might bring you some great options. The way I see it, the more options, the better to get your creative juices going.
Starting again fresh.
A few years back, I started designing photo display ideas on my site, and then life got away from me, and I stopped. However, it is something I want to begin again with a fresh and new start. You will notice that I like to mix things up when it comes to photo collages. It’s pretty standard for you to see more abstract designs in my picture wall displays. Even in my own home, most of the family photographs displayed on my walls are not mounted up perfectly or considered centered or necessarily balanced.
Don’t be afraid to mix it up!
True to myself, just like with wardrobe selection, I think it’s excellent not always to match too much. However, with this said, there will be many designs that are more traditional aligned pictures for those with the more lined up taste. Also, you will see that I enjoy mixing up frame styles and also colors. I think it’s also fun and charming to mix up framed photos alongside canvas. For some spaces, it just works so nicely. Plus, displaying pictures can get a little redundant and a little boring. Why not have some fun with the design part of the process.
