I'd love to photograph your family!

Born and raised in a small town just north of Houston, it is so true that there are so many fantastic places for family photography photo sessions. From the lush foliage at Memorial Park not too far from West University, and just a short drive to Garden Oaks, the nature photo-shoot spots are endless. Then there is the Montrose area, where my husband and I lived for a few years, which offers some fun eclectic vibes. Of course, Baldwin Park just outside of downtown, is on the list of the top 10 best locations I like to take families for their photography sessions. Those giant trees are incredible and make a wonderful backdrop, while offering fun for the kids to play.
Then there is Galveston beach which is always an excellent choice for family photos. Luckily, it’s only about an hour or so drive from Houston. Often extended families get together for a holiday at the beach and choose to have their photos done.
It must be said that photographing my family clients in my area holds a special place in my heart. What is so great about the North Houston area is there are so many unique and plush green locations. When you come a little more out to the country, the sunsets are just divine, and often sites for a family photography session are much more private. If color and beautiful backgrounds are desired, Mercer Arboretum is nearby and offers one of Houston’s most flower-filled places for a family photographer to shoot at. No matter what part of Houston you are in, I guarantee there are plenty of great places for your photo session.
