Celebrate your upcoming arrival by booking a professional photographer to take maternity portraits for you. What could be better? Not much if I don’t mind saying so. This mom has an incredible style. It was only fitting she wanted to take her maternity photos at the very hip blue and green trees near downtown Houston. I had driven by these tress more times to count over the years when we lived in Montrose. What a fun and unique spot for a family photography session, too! The photographs from our session turned out so fabulous, as you can see.
This location, unfortunately, is not very easy to get to due to its location between a bustling intersection. Let’s say crossing over was a little scary! For families with little ones, we would need to plan accordingly. It would be great to photograph another family here in the future!
A cool backstory is that when I photographed this family previously, the mom was pregnant. However, it was a little secret at that time. It’s such an honor to capture these extraordinary moments for my clients. By chance, there was a double rainbow in a photograph I took. The double rainbow was not revealed until I darkened the background in Photoshop post edit. It was not until months later; I learned that this baby was their rainbow baby after two losses. It truly brought me to tears. What joy it was for this family to welcome their baby boy.
