There is just about nothing sweeter than seeing parents with their newborn baby! They are captivated, enamored and in awe of this amazing little new life for which they’ve been waiting. Now, I did say “just about nothing sweeter” because seeing a doting older sister who adores her new little sibling is incredibly sweet as well! Sometimes if the siblings are close in age, you might sense a bit of jealousy from the older child, which is completely understandable. When the sister is a fair bit older, however, you can really feel the pride, love and protectiveness she has for this new baby who she considers to be her own. I love witnessing the budding motherly instincts kick in in these situations!
The gorgeous older sister below will certainly be an awesome helper to her mom and dad and take great care of her newest little love. This sweet family was a joy to photograph in their home! I hope to get to take more family photos of them as these beautiful children grow!
