I love this family and their neighborhood that’s filled with these great Craftsman style homes! The clean, beautiful lines and colors of these homes make for a fabulous setting to take family pictures. This particular neighborhood was designed with more front porch and front yard space to encourage families to spend time there and get to know their neighbors. Another feature designed to promote neighborly encounters: nice shady sidewalks situated a fair distance from the road, making them perfect for taking a walk with your family. I realize I’m starting to sound like a real estate ad for this neighborhood (I promise I’m not looking to branch out and become an agent!), but I just love so much the idea of specifically designing a neighborhood with features to help bring neighbors together. With so many neighborhoods using Facebook groups to connect its residents, it’s refreshing to see efforts to connect people in real life.
I love taking pictures of families inside their homes, but the design of this neighborhood made it perfect for these beautiful outdoor shots!
