I went to WPPI for the 2nd time this year and oh what fun. 😉 I went with my dear friend Mandy and it was just splendid. While in Vegas, I had the opportunity to shoot with one of my favorite photographers, Diana Palmer. She actually is a film photographer, which I think is like the coolest thing on the planet. I, along with eight other girls, had a shootout of sorts with this amazing family. Officially it was a shooting workshop, but really, in my opinion it was so much more.
What I learned was that we are all human. We all make lots of mistakes. We are all trying to hard to balance the creative with the business…and the business with the personal stuff. We all question our abilities more than we should. We all yearn to be better. And really the only thing stopping us at the end of the day is ourselves.
There are a handful of images I really love from this workshop and these are just a few. I hope to share more sporadically over the next few weeks or so.
