So excited to shoot at this new location in The Woodlands thanks to my photographer group of friends. <3 It’s so important as a professional who works from home (in my opinion) to have a good support group of other professionals who do what you do. It was quite a bit of change for me when I resigned from my ‘day’ job/career in recuriting, which I had been doing for over 10 years…working in an office with others in my field…to then go into a work from home sort of job. Yes, I work outside the home when I actually photograph my clients, but most of my work is done from home. Anyways…it was a big adjustment. I could not have done it without having met one very special photographer, Nicole with Nicole Noelle Photography (who is now one of my dearest friends) who then so graciously introduced me to the most fantastic group of ladies who are also photographers. They have all been such a great support to me in my adventures in professional photography, as I will call it. There is just something so wonderful about having girls that love photography as much as I do and being able to learn and grow from each other. It’s made my transition into this field so much more pleasant and enjoyable. I am so grateful to them. I would recommend to any photographer, in particular those who are just new to the business, to find at least one or two other photographers to become friends with. Trust me, I guarantee it will make this job so much more rewarding. I guarantee it will make you a better photographer. <3
Okay…back to this session. This family was so fun to shoot. I admit, all my clients are pretty fun to shoot. I am very lucky like that. 😉
