Although Christmas is a few weeks behind us now, I wanted to share these lovely shots from a family Christmas session I photographed. Like the quote above says, the spirit of Christmas should not be limited to a certain time of year, but should be a state of mind all throughout the year. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?!?! Not the presents, stress or anything like that, but the sense of peace and goodwill you get during the Christmas season. There is just a different feeling in the air around Christmastime…the lights and decorations make everything look cheerier and more beautiful! I know it isn’t the case everywhere and with everyone, but the people I encounter seem friendlier. I love it! The Woodlands, where I get to call home, seems especially lovely during that time of year, with so many areas and neighborhoods elaborately lit. So, in the “spirit of Christmas,” I hope you enjoy these photos and let them remind you that the joy of Christmas can be year round!
