I LOVE LOVE LOVE newborn photo shoots with a young sibling! It is just the sweetest thing to witness and capture this tender new relationship that is developing. (Although sometimes it is less “tender” and more “heavy handed”, e.g. “please, please, PLEASE be careful with your baby sister!”, especially if the older sibling is a rambunctious little boy!) Thankfully, in this lovely family’s photo shoot it was all sweetness with this adorable little guy and his tiny newborn sister. Seriously, just check out the pictures to see how precious they are together and how absolutely darling this mom and dad are with their two little loves!
In-home newborn sessions are some of my favorite as they always take me back to that sacred time spent with your newborn in the first special days of his or her life. I can remember just basking in all the post-baby bliss after my son was born. There are certainly tons of memorable moments throughout your child’s life, but nothing quite compares to those first days enjoying your “babymoon”! I’m not saying it’s all easy (there’s A LOT of icky, painful and downright bizarre after-baby stuff you likely weren’t prepared for) but the time spent with your newborn is so brief and beautiful that you have to savor it!
