If you are looking for a newborn photographer in Houston Texas and you have found me here….welcome! I think it’s important to know first off that I do not do the super posed, prop filled newborn sessions that seem to be very popular right not. Although those images are very lovely, they are not the kinds of images that radiate with me. I want images filled with a more organic and free flowing vibe. Photos that are more simple and natural. I mean no offense to anyone, but isn’t your baby fabulous enough on their own?? Such perfect skin and squishy faces…bright eyes and all. Why distract from that kind of perfection??? Instead, I will help you celebrate those simple, yet amazing features that your newborn baby possesses.
While I make sure to get a nice collection of photos of the baby by themselves, I want to give new parents and siblings the opportunity to be in the photos with the baby. For newborn sessions I really prefer to focus on the entire family. Why you ask? Well it’s pretty simple. After a new baby arrives, I see it all the time….while there may be many photos taken of the baby by parents, and likely a lot of sibling photos if applicable, but there tends to be very few of the baby and their parents together. I want to try and capture the excitement and the connections between parents and baby. I admit, I focus on mommy and baby the most because the tendency is that mom is most often the one behind the camera as the children grow.
