Newborn In Home Photography Houston, TX

If you are on the fence about traditional newborn photography, then please consider an in home, lifestyle (or documentary style) photo session instead.  Forget about any props or elaborate set ups…and forget about the session that lasts 2-4 hours, which is common for those types of photographs.

Instead, think…one hour of your time, maybe an hour and a half, max….just you, your family and that precious new arrival in simple, more casual photographs.  Your baby can be brand new or several weeks old.  They can be awake the entire session or if they need a nap, we will get them sleeping.  Please note, that if you would possibly like some sleepy photos of your baby during our session, the best time to schedule your session is within 5 days of birth and even then, I can’t guarantee sleepy baby pics because it is not the goal of this style of photography.  However, in the first days after birth, babies are the most sleepy and will likely sleep more during our session and so the sooner we can book, the greater chance your baby will fall asleep on their own during our session.

There are a few options with these sessions:  1) we can get mostly family photographs and just a few of your baby by themselves.  2) more of the baby by themselves and just a couple of the whole family.  3) mostly the baby and a series of shots with just baby and sibling/siblings (parents don’t have to be in any of the photos)  The point is that the session can be tailored to you and what you want, all for the same price.  Or certainly if you don’t care about choosing, I’m happy to go with the flow once I’m at your home and I’ll surprise you with what I think is best.  😉
