Is there anything sweeter than a sleeping newborn?!?! Because they do sleep so much in the beginning, we usually get some awesome sleep shots (sometimes with those fabulous sleep smiles!), but it’s really up to each baby whether he or she is sleepy at session time. Sure, they can be ever-so-slightly persuaded, but only so much. I try to schedule accordingly, but with babies this new, there is no way to know if you’ll get those coveted nap shots.
Well, this precious new girl was a nap champion and so wonderful to photograph! (Maybe it was the power of suggestion with the throw pillow commanding her to “nap”? If only that were true and could work for toddlers!) She stayed out of it as her gorgeous parents and big brother molded themselves around, cradled and cuddled her. How perfect are they!?!? This whole family is a photographer’s dream! I love capturing families being so comfortable and loving with each other…these are the most beautiful moments in life!
