Here lately it seems I’ve been getting so many awesome clients who want to do family maternity sessions…and I love it so much! Capturing special moments in these growing families is just THE BEST! There’s something so wonderful about celebrating the life a family currently enjoys while also anticipating the arrival of their newest addition. Although it may seem like it, photographs don’t just capture what is happening in that particular moment; they represent everything that was happening during that period in your and your family’s life. It’s always neat to look back at certain photos and think about the events that took place around that time or to realize, “Wow…those are the last family pictures of you as an only child!” or whatever the situation may be. Every picture has a story behind it and surrounding it that only those in it (and sometimes the photographer) are aware of.
This gorgeous family’s story photographs so beautifully: two loving parents, an adorable little boy and a new baby on the way! There’s a lot more going on behind the scenes, though, that only they can know. When they look at these photos, I hope they have lovely memories of not only this day, but many special moments that surrounded it.
