This is actually an image I took over two years ago. I loved this session so much. Since then, I’ve photographed a number of families in their living rooms, bedrooms and such. As you likely know if you’ve been around a while, I love photographing families in their homes. I wanted to kick off the new year by offering what I am calling ‘Sofa Sessions’ and I know what many will be thinking….a session in a field on some vintage sofa. Many of you will know the very photographs I am talking about because they have been all the craze the last few years for family photographs. I never did them because hauling a big sofa onsite somewhere was quite frankly too much work. hehe
Anyways…these are NOT the sessions I am talking about! These are photographs in your house…on your sofa….with your kiddos. These are super quick, very fluid sessions that literally last 15 minutes. I will be setting the timer, no joke. I expect these to be fast, fun, lively sessions so just be ready mom and dad. 😉 Or these would actually be a great session for mommy & me photos, which are photographs of just mom and the kiddos.
Let me tell you that you do not have to have a fancy sofa or a Pottery Barn living room for these photographs to be beautiful. You leave that to me. 😀 Trust me, you will love these images!! I have some new tricks up my sleeve for this year to enhance all in home sessions! I can’t wait to try them out!
