What a joy to have the privilege of being chosen by other photographers to capture important milestones for them. It’s really a very exciting thing for me. Certainly, I highly value all of my customers, but when one of your (very talented) colleagues hire you, it has a very special meaning. I was so happy to have been there for this mommy and her family only a day after their precious daughter arrived.
These are a Fresh 48 session, which is a session of photographs taken within 48 hours of your baby being born. A Fresh 48 session is typically done at the hospital, unless your baby is born at home or a birth center, of which we can make special arrangements for such a session. I know that likely many of you would think that photographs in a tiny hospital room could not turn out very well. However, if done well, photographs in a hospital room can be so lovely. These are wonderful memories to have captured since babies change so much even within the first week of life. These sessions are really great for families who are not quite interested in full out birth photography and not necessarily interested in a traditional newborn session.
