Now, it’s not often that I’d refer to a newborn baby as “handsome”, but, by golly, this little guy is SO handsome! Maybe it’s his thick gorgeous hair and soulful expression that make him look more mature than a typical newborn and make “handsome” seem like a more appropriate description than “cute” or “adorable” (although he is those things as well). I don’t know, but I am just so taken with him and his sweet family!
His beautiful big sister seems to be at an age where she’s not quite sure what to make of him yet and isn’t quite the “doting big sister” at the moment (we had to bribe her a bit to stay in the shots!), but it probably won’t be long before she’s completely enamored with him! It’s always interesting to watch the sibling dynamic begin and continue to watch it evolve as children age. Right now, big sis is a little reserved and hesitant to embrace her role, but in a very short time she’ll probably be begging to hold her baby brother and trying to change his diapers at every opportunity! And this time next year, this handsome fella will likely be stealing her puzzle pieces and wanting to get into everything that his big sister is doing! Take all the pictures you can, because it all changes so quickly!
