I was so excited to have the opportunity to photograph this photographer and her family recently on the beach in Galveston, Texas. This crew was a lively bunch, so why not have them in front of Pleasure Pier for their session. I wanted these images to be fun, happy and colorful….with lots of sunshine. I am so very pleased at how they turned out. Shooting in full sun is something that I would have never even attempted a few years ago. However, I really believe that for certain sessions…ones that fit full sun, like the beach, can be so amazing in the bright rays of the sun. I mean, when you think of the beach, you think of sunshine right? I personally feel like it gives the photographs a completely different feel. Super warm and they just scream summertime, don’t you think?
