Okay, so I know this is “Newborn Session” (and I absolutely adore it as such)…but THIS DOG is just so fabulous! I love all of the photos from this shoot, but the ones with the family pooch really steal my heart. I have always had (and will always have) a special place in my heart for fur babies. Dogs were a part of my life long before I ever gave birth to my son and will remain a part of our family forever (or furever…wah wah wah…couldn’t resist). Although there is bound to be a bit of jealousy from a pet upon arrival of the first (and each subsequent) child, the bond that forms between children and their four-legged siblings is absolutely priceless. On the website of Cesar Milan (aka The Dog Whisperer), there is an article titled The Five Stages of Baby-Canine Friendship, written by Juliana Weiss-Roessler. It is definitely worth a read if you need some guidance on acclimating your furry friend to your newborn. Though dogs can be a challenge at times, especially with a new baby, the unconditional love they offer is more than worth it!
