In a recent post, I gushed a bit about love and how it expands as families grow. This is even more evident with extended family photography sessions! I love so much seeing how grandparents’ hearts are overflowing with love for these tiny beings who are their family’s future.
I think it’s so fitting that these gorgeous grandparents and grandkids are sitting under a painting of a tree. We often hear the term “family tree,” but seeing this really started me thinking about how the growth of trees is both seen and unseen. Of course the growth of the trunk, branches and leaves is visible, but the roots grow deeper underground to create a stronger foundation. Such is a family and the love that they share. Each member that is added brings with them more love to grow those unseen roots that anchor the family. It is clear from the love that these grandparents and grandkids have for each other that this family tree has some amazing roots and will continue to grow beautifully!
