It was a very clear day and would have been the most perfect day, if it was not raining on and off. I know many of my photographer friends had canceled sessions this very day, but this mom and I decided we would chance it. Most of the time, I am game and very optimistic about the weather. Most of the time, I know it has just been my very good luck, but most of the time, if my gut says to press on, we end up with a lovely window to shoot. And this day was just such a day. I kid you not….torrential down pouring most of the day….and as I was driving to this session, I could sense just a bit of clarity on the horizon. And again, we got lucky with the most lovely light….and I got lucky with the most lovely family to photograph! So easy and their sweet boys…oh, those sweet little boys! Sure, the oldest made me work a little…or let’s say…run and chase him a bit, but just know that my patience is great and he warmed up to me within about 10 minutes or so and then the magic happened.
