Let me first preface by saying this ‘session’ was totally not planned. I can’t even really call it an official session really. You see, my sister, brother in law and nephew were all in town for a little last minute visit recently. While my sister and I were was busy with another commitments one day, my nephew and brother in law stayed with my hubby for some boy time.
It ended up that I got back a little earlier than expected and had this tiny little opportunity to take a few pictures of these two handsome fellas playing together. They were gracious enough to give me about 10 minutes and I was so thrilled with the memories I captured before they had to leave.
I tell you these things because I would normally avoid a bright, orange shirt with giant verbiage on it for photos, but in this case, I just had to work with the shirt because, well, it’s the only shirt he had. HA!
But this is the most wonderful thing about photographs. Even when you don’t have total control over everything, you realize that it’s truly about capturing the moments and not as much all the other ‘stuff’. This boy loves his daddy so much and his daddy loves him so much. And showcasing that love through photographs is the most important part and why I love what I do so much!
