Whenever I go into a newborn photo session in which there will be a toddler sibling involved, I’m always just a tiny bit apprehensive. (I mean, I know it will be fine and we’ll get great shots, but it can be somewhat of a challenge!) As if a newborn isn’t unpredictable enough on her own, adding an energy-filled toddler to the mix usually gets interesting, to say the least! This seems to be especially true when that toddler is a little boy. (Not trying to stereotype or anything, just making an observation that toddler boys tend to be a bit more rambunctious and less maternal than their female counterparts.)
You can see in the pictures below that this adorable big brother is somewhat of a force of nature, often needing to be wrangled to keep him in the shot, yet not too close to his delicate new baby sister. He is such a fun, energetic little character! (Speaking of character, how great is this dad’s beard?!?!)
If you want to see more of this beautiful little girl and her super-cute nursery, check out this post (Colors) from the beginning of the month!
