We all know the familiar expression, “Better late than never.” I wouldn’t say that it’s my personal motto or anything, but I will say that throughout my life I have become well aware of my tendency to procrastinate. Don’t get me wrong, I always meet my obligations and get things done on time. I do, however, often put things off until the final hour (or minute) that they need to be done. Is it because I love a challenge and work well under pressure? Is it because it’s hard to get motivated if there isn’t a strict deadline? Is it because I’m just crazy busy and things slip my mind until the last minute sometimes? I’m sure that those are all factors to varying degrees, depending on the specific project or task, but I honestly don’t know why procrastination is so determined to be a part of my life.
I bring that up because I often don’t get around to blogging about a session until well after it was completed. Case in point: the pictures below that I took in December. Now, they certainly aren’t crazy Christmas-y or anything, but you might notice the Christmas decor in the background of some of the pictures. (If it weren’t for that, I probably would never have mentioned anything about my procrastination…but the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem, right? 🙂 ) Christmas decorations aside, I think this family looks spectacular and I hope these are photos they will cherish for a lifetime!
