I’ve had the privilege of getting to know this family this last year. When we first met, we were photographing this little guys big sister for her birthday. This family had just found out they were expecting their second bundle of joy first of July 2013, only a few weeks after our little guy was due. 😉 We later found out we were both having little boys, which was fun.
I love unique baby names…maybe because my name is so terribly generic. I know and knew so many ‘Amy’s’ growing up….I love my name because it’s what my parent’s chose for me, but it would have been very cool to have a very unique name. When we name our son, I had to find the happy compromise with my husband…so we named him Nathaniel, which is so fitting to him and I love it…
BUT this sweet baby has a very cool name…and unique…at least here in the states. His name is Gianluca. A name I’d never heard before. This family is Italian, so it is very fitting. 😉 Anyway, is he a handsome guy or what? Watch out ladies. hehe
And during our shoot, mom didn’t plan on being in any of the pics, but I had to snap a few and I’m so glad I did! Perfection in every way!
And please keep in mind that the entire session was devoted to this little guy….mom was only in a few shots. This is how we were able to get more variety of shots of baby only…and he was brand new when we shot these, so he was very sleepy the entire session, hence why basically all his pics are him sleeping. But remember, if you want sleeping baby photos of your newborn, it is most likely we can get those only if your baby’s session is done at 6 days old or less and even then, I can not guarantee your baby will fall asleep during our session. But rest assured, we will get beautiful images of your awake baby if they are not sleepy. 😉
