The moments between a mother and her child are so very special and they seem even more so when a second child is on the way. It is the last bit of time for that child to be the “only child” with all the focus, love and attention, so it is precious indeed. Not that a mother will love her first child any less with the second’s arrival, but it is obvious that things will change with the new addition. Many women choose not to do maternity pictures after their first pregnancy. I’m not criticizing anyone for their decision, however, I think it’s so beautiful to capture the moments with a first child, his parents and his unborn little sibling. That brings us to this shoot and some things you should know…
I love red. Red hair, red dresses, red pops of color…I love it all. If you know me, you know I love COLOR in general, but red is just…POW! Red is said to represent many things, passion and energy amongst them, but I don’t have a clear reason for liking it so much, other than I just think it’s fabulous :-). I also love pregnant women, children and families. So…this shoot…yeah…I LOVE it!
