As a parent, one of the greatest things for me to witness is how much my son loves his grandparents and how much his grandparents adore him. There is truly a special bond between the oldest and youngest generations in a family. The above quote really made me think about that relationship and the fact that grandkids do just accept their grandparents for who they are without any desire to change them. They may see “quirks”, but, to them, they just add to the fun character of the grandparents they know and love.
One of the best gifts (in my opinion, anyway 🙂 ) that you can give your children’s grandparents is photos of their grandchildren. Even better, take it a step further and have pictures taken of them together! I LOVE photographing grandparents with their grandchildren! So much pure happiness, love and pride in these pictures…
