I loved the photos from this beautiful family’s session so much that I felt they needed two blog posts! In the first post (found here) we focused only on the people without any surroundings, just a blanket and bare wall. It was simple and perfect. In these photos, I wanted to capture the people as well as the gorgeous nursery that these parents have set up for their adorable little boy. I absolutely love this space, from the animal pictures and birds hanging over the crib to the Professor Owl decal on the wall next to the chevron curtains. It is the perfect blend of simplicity, cuteness and style.
Whatever your personal style, I love to take pictures of your baby in the space you’ve set up for him or her. When I walk into these nurseries, I feel the love and planning that went into creating the room your baby will (you hope) be sleeping in each night. As your child grows, you’ll inevitably be redecorating the room, but having pictures of your baby in the first place you designed for him will always be special.
