I had the wonderful opportunity to witness and photograph this sweet baby girl as she made her entrance to the world about 10M ago now. As with all my clients, I so enjoy being able to document first year milestones. How quickly the baby look begins to fade and how they begin to look like little grown ups. Funny how we tend to want them to do certain things so quickly; smiling, holding their heads up, baby babbling, holding objects, reaching for things, eating solid foods, crawling, walking, etc. But then it’s like poof, they’ve done all those things and they are all grown up before we know it. We hear it ALL THE TIME, right? (hehe), but I don’t think we really appreciate the truth of that until we see our own children or children really close to us actually grow up. My motto these days is too try as much as possible to really soak in these precious early years and not rush them. It is hard with all the hustle and bustle of life, for sure…but I’d like to challenge us all, myself included, to just slow down and really enjoy these amazing little people we have been privileged to raise. 😉
