I do enjoy photographing older children, but I (unfortunately) don’t get to do it quite as much as younger kiddos. I guess life gets the best of everyone as the children grow and professional photography becomes less of a priority for many families. (Of course) I feel families should at least have one pro family photo session each year, but if you are unable or feel that is too much, at the very least, I recommend professional portraits every 2-3 years. I’m biased, sure. I admit to that. 😉 BUT a promise you this, your kids will barely remember all the ‘stuff’ they have. It will be the memories and photographs that will stand the test of time. When the computers, games and toys, designer clothes, etc. have faded, photographs will be the tangable you (and they) cherish the most.
