I know this will come as no surprise to any of you, but sometimes things in life don’t go as planned. For example, I was supposed to photograph the birth of this awesome little boy pictured below. He (and God, of course) apparently had other plans, though, as he arrived seven weeks early. Because I was not yet on-call for his arrival, I wasn’t able to be there. 🙁 That didn’t derail our plans for his newborn pictures, however, so we did get some wonderful shots of this beautiful boy shortly after his birth. I have also had the privilege of photographing him and his lovely parents every single year since. 🙂
