This quote really spoke to me, as I love how children can just dance, play and run without any inhibitions….and they do so without external prompting or even encouragement! It is as if there is something inside them which compels them to move. (And I suppose there must be or else they wouldn’t be doing it!) It is one of the many beautiful and magical things of childhood…this musical spirit and joy…as if everything is a song. I happen to love musicals, no matter how absurd their premises might be, because they present life as an unending melody. Sometimes it is cheery and bright; sometimes it is darker and more serious…but it is always immensely more beautiful when set to music. The little girl below reminds me of musical…I would love to hear the music she was hearing as she danced around in the sand! Her fun personality and awesome energy made her such a joy to photograph! I hope these images will bring a little bit of music to your day!
