Oh, the pre-teen years! Such an exciting, confusing, fun, difficult time in life! (You couldn’t pay me enough to go back and relive it!) My generation pretty much just had parents, friends, Childcraft encyclopedias and Judy Bloom to help us through it, but pre-teens today have the internet. While it can help answer a lot of questions, I think it probably creates just as many and can cause more pressure and confusion. (While I am so thankful to have social media as great tool today, I am very grateful I didn’t have it while growing up!) That being said, I think that all the added difficulties for today’s pre-teens make it that much more important that we celebrate this time in life with them. What better way than to do a fun, sweet photo shoot to let them know how great we think they are?!?! (And, seriously, they NEED to know that there are photos that aren’t selfies!)
I loved helping to celebrate this awesome eleven year old! In addition to being super cute, she is smart and so much fun!
