This sweet girl I’ve photographed since she was just one year old. Her momma was actually very pregnant with her baby brother when we first met. It’s just incredible to see these kiddos grow up so quickly before our eyes! It’s so much fun to get to see their personalities become so definitive and to watch them mature into little people. Often times taking on many of their parents characteristics. Such a fun job I have! 🙂
I thought this little poem was fitting.
You were six months old and full of fun; With a blink of an eye you were suddenly one; There were so many things we were going to do, But I turn my head and you were two.
At two you were still dependent on me, But independence took over when you were three; Your third birthday, another year I wished to ignore, But as I lit the candles there weren’t three but four.
Now your four, now ready for books and rules, in just one more year you will go to school; Time goes by so fast its hard to believe
So I am holding these moments as hard as I can, In a twinkling, a woman will be standing there.
