Never mind that this sweet baby girl is not going on 10 months. As I mentioned, some photos get lost in the abyss and get delayed being posted to the blog. But the images are no less, an amazing reminder of how bringing a child into this world is a truly miraculous event. This birth was no exception. It was the first time I was allowed into the OR for a cesarean. Something that is not for the faint of heart, but a true testament to advanced medical technology. I admit, it was very cool to see in person. Just incredible! I can speak from this experience that this momma had at Texas Children’s Hospital, the Pavilion for Woman is top notch. They were very respectful and honored the birth plan that had been laid out. The first image, taken just moments after this sweet, baby girl entered this world and a few with her and her proud mommy! And then big brother, meeting his little sister for the very first time. Priceless moments. As this last photograph was being taken; she, with her husband by her side, looking at her beautiful first born and now her daughter in her arms, I will never forgot the words she said over and over….”my life is so full; so very, very full’ and she continued kissing them, as I had to wipe the tears from my own eyes. Whether it’s a baby born or a child being adopted, it gets me choked up every time. <3
