I know I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again: I think that pregnant women are just so beautiful! It is such an incredible and amazing process, growing life inside you! I want each maternity photo session I do to celebrate the glorious, goddess-like woman who is bringing this new, perfect little life into the world. I love being out in nature when taking these photos, as pregnancy and birth are things that I feel connect us most closely with the natural world and all of creation. This gorgeous mamma below is so radiant, I couldn’t ask for a better model for maternity pictures! Her fabulous hair and that spectacularly vivid purple dress really make this lovely lady “pop” against the wooded surroundings. Speaking of “popping”, how perfect is her baby bump?!?! I know it is incredibly rude to go up to a pregnant woman and touch her belly and I would NEVER do that (especially if she were someone I didn’t know! ha!), but I totally understand why people want to! Now, I’m not making excuses for the crazies in Wal-Mart (or any other public place) who will go up to a stranger, start touching her baby belly, tell her the sex of her child or start giving parenting advice. (Yes, those are all things that have either happened to me or someone I know!) I’m just saying that I completely get why people are drawn to expectant mothers…they’re stunning! I don’t think you could look at the pictures below without agreeing with me!
