Recently I’ve had quite a number of requests lately for a beginner workshop/class to help those of you struggling with your digital SLR camera. These classes will be relaxed, but pretty thorough covering quite a bit of information for beginners. However, I can speak from my own experience that it’s not rocket science and you are really smarter than the camera. Anyone can learn some basic skills to give the opportunity to create much nicer images. As I have said before, there is a place and time for professional photographs, but I can’t be your full time personal paparazzi. HA! If photography is something you are interested in, you owe it to yourself and the field to take the best pictures you can.
This class is great for parents, real estate professionals, food bloggers, sellers on Etsy, etc.
What you will learn in this class will help you take better photographs of everything from people and animals to food and architecture and more.
Please be prepared to bring your DLSR camera, take lots of notes and ask lots of questions. 🙂 Digital SLR required for attendance. If you are not sure if your camera is a digital SLR, please contact me and let me know what camera you have. It will be most helpful to have at least one prime (non zoom) lens in your ‘bag’. This class is not intended for those wanting to learn studio lighting or flash photography. This class will focus on natural light and no camera flash. This class is ideal for someone who is really serious about taking better photos with their camera in full manual mode. This is not a class for children. This is also not a class for those wanting to know how to start a photography business or anything related to post processing. This is strictly how to get the best image straight out of camera.
