If you go to Google and do a search for “Is white a color?”, you will find that there is some debate on the matter. Answers vary based on whether you are talking about color as pigments or as light. White’s lack of pigment would cause it not to be a color, but the fact that it reflects all the colors of the visible light spectrum makes it a color. (There is also color as defined by wavelengths, but we’ll just keep it as simple as possible!) Regardless if it is a color or not, I love white as the most simple and neutral palette to really make subjects stand out in a photograph. Because it is reflective, it seems to take on and magnify the beauty and personality of those subjects. I certainly think it works beautifully in the images below! This gorgeous mamma and her two adorable children couldn’t be lovelier!
If this is your first time seeing these three beauties (or if you’ve seen them before and just want to see more fabulous photos of them!), you should check out this maternity session (here), precious baby and mamma shots (here), sweet sibling pictures (here) and pics of super-fun big sister (here)!
