If you’re a regular reader (or viewer) of my blog, you might recognize the room, couch, kids and painting in the photos below. Last month, I did a post (“Family Tree“) showcasing other pictures from this session, which was actually an extended family shoot and included the grandparents. There is just something I love about this family and these pictures! I don’t know if it’s the cute kids…the whole family’s great, casual style…or maybe it’s dad’s curly hair! (I love it!) I know each of those things contribute to my fondness for these photos, so I’m sure it’s a combination of them all.
Every family has those things which make them unique and lovely. I hope that my photographs showcase that pure, natural beauty of my clients. I never want that to be overshadowed by any sort of effects. (Just to be clear, that’s just my personal style and I’m certainly not being critical of any other photographer’s style or preference.)
