I’ve been dying to get this type of photo for a while, using a wider angle lens with the sun bursting through with just the right flare and haze. And this last week, I got it! I love many photographs for many reasons, but this one takes the cake in a different way for me. I long to capture families in the most authentic ways. With this family’s genuine smiles and lack of that “posed” feeling, this particular photograph just screams “real life” to me. This is what “lifestyle” photography is to me: capturing an honest moment in a person or family’s life. It is unique to each of my clients, whom I adore. Working in natural settings with fabulous natural lighting…I don’t think it gets any better than that!
