I’ve said it before that I am no longer doing fancy prop newborn shoots….not that I did too much of that ever to begin with…and although those types of images are nice and there is most certainly a HUGE market for those, I’ve chosen to only use blankets and wraps in my sessions….and my newborn photography sessions will not focus on spending time getting a baby to sleep…HOWEVER, if your baby is brand spanking new and they want to sleep during our session, fantastic….we will get all photos of your baby sleeping. 😉 And if your baby is awake, we will get awake photos. Either way, I assure you that we will get the most wonderful photographs of your little one!!!
Back to this beautiful baby girl~
I’ve known her mom since high school. We were even roommates our first year of college in the dorm. We both ended up having our babies later in life which I love because it is so nice to share in these milestones with such a long term friend. Now if I could just get her and her husband to move to the Northside, I’d be so happy! hehe
Just a little note: if you want more sleepy baby photos, it will be vital that you schedule your baby’s sessions within 5-6 days of birth, when they are the sleepiest.
Many babies (younger than 2 weeks) will fall asleep on their own at least once during our session, but it is never guaranteed. 😉
