I was introduced to this family through a mutual friend and fellow photographer of mine. They are recent transplants from California. You might be asking….who moves from California to Texas???….well, lots of people. Texas is awesome. hehe In particular, the Woodlands is awesome. Sure, I am biased as we are also transplants of sorts…I mean, our move was from in town, Montrose to be exact, to the land of the woods, which I can tell you are nearly two different planets. We loved living in Montrose…and I admit, miss it at times. There is a certain something that it has that no suburb can match. Anyways, but our home is the burbs…at least for a while, and I do really love it here and can see the attraction for the many…and I mean MANY families flocking here to The Woodlands.
Anyways…this family was so easy to shoot. They had recently just welcomed their son into the world. There is no denying they have a show home of sorts….this momma has great style and the home reflects that…but I can tell you that even amongst such style, anyone who enters their home will be instantly hit with the most welcome of feeling….this momma naturally sends off the most ‘our casa is your casa’ vibe…from the moment you enter their home. They are so warm and inviting…making all feel like you are just part of their family. There were so many lovely images from this session and will likely have to have a 2nd post to show off more from their session. hehe
