While I adore sleepy newborn photos, I also love the wide-eyed, startled look that newborns have when taking in the new world around them. I mean, can you imagine seeing everything for the very first time?!?! It’s so awesome to witness these incredible new little people trying to focus and understand all that is happening before their eyes for the first time. The connections they make with their parents and other loved ones are particularly captivating. It’s amazing how quickly the attachment is made…and it will never be broken!
The adorable fella below was filled with wide-eyed wonder during our session. I love how alert he is! We got some precious sleeping shots too, but I think his expressions are just fantastic! I may be a bit biased, but I LOVE these shots! (Such FABULOUS subjects! Have I ever mentioned how much I love my clients?) His sweet bond with his gorgeous parents is beyond beautiful. He may be new here, but it looks like he’s fitting in perfectly!
