As a Houston Child Photographer, I’ve been privileged to get to know kiddos as they grow. It’s so much fun to see how much they change over the years. While I love shooting families…by far, my most favorite part of my job, I do very much love having photo sessions where I give all my attention to just one child. It is so much fun to just focus fully on my one subject. There are many benefits to your child having a birthday session by themselves. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING can replace family photos with everyone together catching the most amazing love and joy that can only come between parents and children. But when I can focus on one subject the entire time, it is certain to really get not only many faces of you child, but also be able to capture the full realm of their personality. And isn’t that the whole point of investing in photos of our families and kids? To be able to look back years from now and see them JUST AS THEY WERE! That is what I want to offer my clients. Beautiful, classic photographs of your children that truly represent who they are. I don’t want to ‘create’ an image of your family that is not authentic. Furthermore, as you can see in my portfolio, I don’t use props or ‘sets’. For me, it just distracts from my subjects. Just personal preference, of course.
