I adore all the gorgeous subjects I get to photograph, from newborns to grandparents and everyone in between! One of my favorite aspects of my job is getting to see and document families as they expand, grow and change from year to year. I love to make a connection with every family and capture the spirit and love that make each one unique and beautiful. Last year, I had the pleasure of doing family portraits for the lovely family pictured below. It is amazing how much their adorable little girl has grown…and so exciting that now she’s going to be a big sister! She is so sweet, I just know she’s going to be amazing and dote on her new little sibling!
As this family goes from three to four, the love just grows as well. It’s such an incredible concept, the infinite nature of love. Hearts and souls expand and the more love we let flow from us, the more we are filled. It is my goal for the love in each family to shine through my photographs of them. When you view them, I hope you can feel that love, be filled and be inspired to love those around you even more. Perhaps it’s too much to expect that from family portraits, but the amount of love I put into them and feel from them makes me believe that they can be more than just pictures.
