I am so often asked by clients, “What should we wear for our pictures?” that I could probably have an entire blog dedicated to just cute family portrait outfits. Actually, I’m sure I could easily pull from some of the awesomely fashionable families I’ve photographed and make a “What To Wear” portfolio as a guide for future clients. In the meantime, however, the picture below is an example of some great outfits that could work for your family portraits. Just an example, of course. I’m not telling you to run out (or start searching online) and buy these clothes. Remember, these are pictures of YOUR family. They should reflect your family’s style. That is one of my main goals in my photography: to capture the essence of YOU (and your family). I don’t want you trying to be someone that you’re not for the sake of a nice picture. So, really, my advice is: dress in a way that you’ll feel fabulous, comfortable and like yourself 🙂 The pictures will reflect the awesomeness that is you!
