Displaying baby photos from your family photography session should be fun and not stressful.
These days, you can find high-quality frames and mats at a reasonable price. Especially with the internet and online shopping. However, if you are having trouble with ideas, check out my Pinterest board. If that is almost too many options, there are premade frame collections almost everywhere now.
Even Walmart has some excellent options. Search for ‘frame kit’ or ‘photo frame wall set’, which will bring up great options at Target too.
Hobby Lobby and Marshalls also sell photo frame sets that often also have the mattes already included.
In the examples here, I thought it fun to show three different looks displaying baby photos for the same room. I do love the pink frames, but then the gold frames are also very classy. However, my non-matchy self keeps going back to the middle one. I’m digging the wood mixed with the gold. Which one is your favorite?
Can you recommend a good printer?
If you chose not to print your photographs through your photographer, I have a few printers I recommend.
One of the best consumer printers out there is Unit Prints. They are seriously top-notch. Artifact Uprising also does an excellent job printing baby, child, and family photographs. I know many photographers who recommend Mpix to their clients. They are more of like third place for me. Good, but not quite as good as the other two listed. I’ve had clients who had good results with the Nations Photo lab and also with Smallwoods.
