Before you start thinking this post is something it isn’t, the title refers to B&W not S&M! More specifically, it is referring to “grayscale”, which is a method of representing black and white images on a computer (256 shades of gray are used rather than the full color pallet). I needed a catchy title, okay?!?! 😛 All black and white photography is part of what is known as monochrome photography, where only a single hue is recorded instead of the original colors. These photos often appear more emotional or artistic. Some people REALLY love black and white images…some people prefer color…some people are indifferent. There is no right or wrong, just varying personal preference. You may make the decision based solely on your current decor and there is certainly no shame in that! Whatever the reason, if black and white photos are your thing, let me know! I am happy to offer you more monochromatic images in your gallery. 🙂
