See all those lovely little circles in this photograph I took below? Well, this is something in the photography world known as bokah. Instead of boring you with my explanation of bokah, I will instead direct you to two place which do a pretty good job at explaining it. 1. Ken Rockwell and 2. Wikipedia. What I will tell you is that I love bokah and I try to achieve it as much as I can. It’s just so lovely. To get bokah like this, you need sunlight and some trees, preferably with at least some different colored leaves. The more color the better.
If we lived in, let’s say, Vermont, where the leaves change drastically in color for the season, I would be in heaven because it makes for the most luscious bokah!
